Groups may arrange their own coach or ask the lodge to assist with a booking. Individual visitors can travel by public transport.

Coach arrangements: We can arrange your coach booking.
Booking deadline: Apply at least two months before your stay. Payment is due when you book.
Reminder: Please be ready to board on time. The coach company may charge for waiting.
Book a Lantau coach (no permit needed)
Coach arrangements: Book directly with a Lantau-based coach company. No additional closed-road permit is required.
Hire a city coach (permit required)
Coach arrangements: For direct coach travel from the city, apply to the Transport Department for a Lantau Closed Road Permit.
Without a permit, the coach can only travel as far as Tung Chung, where your group must change to a New Lantao Bus service.
